Meet your paediatrician

Dr Nnana Dikgang

Every child is different, and so is every family. Dr Dikgang takes the time to understand both.

Dr Dikgang is a qualified specialist paediatrician who runs her practice, Chadesh Health, from private consulting rooms at Life Peglerae Hospital in Rustenburg. Her work spans two areas: specialist newborn care, from the delivery room to the neonatal ICU, and general paediatrics for children who need more than a routine GP visit. Whether it's a newborn's first assessment or a long-term condition, the aim is the same: thorough, evidence-based care delivered with warmth and patience.

Parents are partners in their child's care. You'll get a clear explanation of what's happening, what the options are, and what to watch for at home.

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Call us on 072 321 2268.

Do I need a referral to see a paediatrician?

No, you can book directly. Some medical aid plans pay specialist benefits only with a GP referral, so check with your scheme before your visit.

Where are the consulting rooms?

Dr Dikgang consults from private rooms at Life Peglerae Hospital, 173 Beyers Naude Drive, Rustenburg. Because the practice is in the hospital, newborn care and paediatric admissions are handled on site.

Which medical aids do you accept?

We see both medical aid and private patients. Confirm with the practice: list of schemes, and whether claims are submitted directly or pay-and-claim.

What ages do you see?

Dr Dikgang cares for newborns, children and teenagers. Confirm the upper age limit with the practice.

My child is sick today. Can I get a same-day appointment?

Please call the practice. We do our best to fit in unwell children on the same day. If your child is struggling to breathe, unusually drowsy, having a seizure or is seriously injured, go to the nearest emergency unit or call 10177 / 112.

What if I need to cancel?

Please let us know as early as possible so another child can use the slot. Cancellation notice period and any late-cancellation fee to be confirmed.
